What is a Worldview & Why Does It Matter?

Session #1: The importance of a Biblical worldview

It is said that those who don't know history are condemned to repeat it. In this session you will learn from history the consequences that occur when families and nations reject God's ideas, and you'll see the blessings that come when we live by His principles.

In this video, we define what a worldview is, because although everyone has a worldview, most people aren't even aware that they do. We will point out that worldviews are made up of ideas, and that ideas-- good or bad-- have consequences.

Most importantly we begin to lay the ground work for why it's not only important to understand what ideas make up your worldview, but to ensure that each of these ideas is rooted in Scripture.

• What if Christ never lived? We examine the amazing, transforming, and liberating effects Christianity has had upon the entire world.
• What are the the root causes of the church's lack of influence in our society today?
• What percentage of Christians hold a Biblical Worldview, and why is this a critical fact in America today?
