What’s Included

The “You Are What You Think” Textbook Set includes two printed textbooks (Series 1 and Series 2) that present a biblical worldview across 12 subjects:

Series 1: Worldview Foundations, History, Theology, Philosophy, Economics, and Science.

Series 2: Psychology, Ethics, Sociology, Law, Politics, and Education.

Each subject is divided into 8 to 10 daily reading assignments with built-in study questions. The textbooks contain approximately 20% more material than our video series, making them ideal for in-depth personal study, family devotions, or classroom use.

How It Works

Each subject follows a consistent method we call “indoctrinate and inoculate.” First, you study the fundamental biblical doctrines and the ideas they imply. Then, you examine the opposing worldviews that attack those truths in today’s culture — comparing and contrasting them with Scripture using history, statistics, and logic. Students learn to think critically by developing their own ideas (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).

Who It’s For

These textbooks work for homeschool families needing a structured worldview course, parents discipling their teens at home, church small groups wanting weekly study material, public-schooled teens who need a biblical lens alongside their classes, and individual adults who want to understand how Scripture speaks to the issues shaping today’s culture.

Why Families Love These Textbooks

Self-paced and flexible. Use them as a full-semester course, a weekly family devotion, or a daily personal study. The textbooks flex to fit your schedule.

No special training required. The daily readings and study questions guide you through each subject step by step. Answer keys are available online.

Goes deeper than the videos. With 20% more content than the video series, the textbooks give you the depth to truly understand and defend a biblical worldview.

Pairs perfectly with the video series. Use the textbooks on their own or combine them with our video series for the richest, most complete experience. The Complete Bundle includes both.

Do I need the video series to use these textbooks?

No. The textbooks are complete studies in their own right, with daily readings and study questions for all 12 subjects. The video series is a companion resource that adds guided teaching and group discussion — but it’s not required.

Do I need training to teach from these textbooks?

No. Each subject includes structured daily reading assignments and study questions. Answer keys are available as free downloads. If you can read along and discuss the questions together, you’re ready.

Who is this for?

Anyone ages 9 to 99 who wants to understand how Scripture applies to every area of life. Families, teens, small groups, homeschool co-ops, Sunday school classes, and individual adults all use these textbooks.

Can I use this for homeschool?

Yes. Many families use these textbooks as a full-semester high school–level course. The daily reading format and built-in questions make it easy to assign, grade, and discuss.

Can this help my public-school teens?

Yes. Parents use these textbooks alongside public school classes to help their teens evaluate what they’re learning through a biblical lens — especially in subjects like history, science, philosophy, and ethics.

Can I use this for a church small group?

Yes. Assign one or two readings per week, then gather to discuss the study questions. Many groups cover one subject per month. Pair with the video series for an even richer group experience.

How long does it take to complete both textbooks?

At a pace of one reading per day, each subject takes about 8–10 days. The full 12-subject course can be completed in 4–6 months. At a weekly pace, most groups finish in one to two years.

What’s the difference between the textbooks and the booklets?

The textbooks cover all 12 subjects in two comprehensive volumes. The booklets are single-subject, shorter studies — ideal for sampling one topic at a time or distributing to a group. The textbooks go deeper and include more material.

What’s the difference between this and the Complete Bundle?

This product includes only the two textbooks. The Complete Bundle adds the full “You Are What You Think” Video Series (13 hours of guided teaching on DVD, thumb drive, or streaming). If you want both, the bundle saves you money.
